Lord and Taylor Satin Opera Coat? 1960s?

I love this charming, very Audrey Hepburn like, Cocktail, Opera, Charming coat. It would be stunning over anything.

I will be selling it and after exhaustive research, think it's from the 1960's.
I strikes me as satin. It's in beautiful condition.

Any help to learn more of this would be muchly appreciated.

Hi there, it is so lovely! I agree with 1960's, and it could be satin or taffeta, it's hard to tell without touching it.

You're right! It may be taffeta. It is a bit more stiff-has more body than satin, I think.
