Lord and Taylor Teahouse brand

Can anyone give me a brief history on the Lord and Taylor Teahouse line? I have a silk tunic and pants set that someone wants to purchase, but I am not finding much information on the Teahouse line. I am finding robes from the line, but am not finding what I have. It is Cheongsam style floor length mint silk with matching silk pants and am interested in the history and seeing if I can get a good date range for it. Thanks!

Sorry the pictures are not great - they were taken by the owner and emailed to me sometime back, and I can't get to the outfit to take new pictures right now. Though this is a good representation of the outfit. The label is the same - but this label picture is from a robe that was sold through etsy and not my actual garment.

I recently received a woman's mother's collection of clothes to try and find new homes for and this was one of the items. Some amazing things are in this collection that I am trying to research and price (including a champagne colored all fringe Edward Abbott - I am getting off topic)

You are probably correct.
In the VFG label resource, there is a late 70s label for The Country Clothes Shop:

My thought is that meanwhile, over in the Lord & Taylor lingerie department, we would have found their 'Teahouse' line. Now, for how many seasons, I'm not sure. Ads may shed some light on what else was offered, besides this lounging set, and the robe you mentioned, and for how long. With any luck you may locate an ad for your set, or a similar item.

We know it was on the Fourth Floor in NYC, at least:

Also, it is probably a good idea to obtain permission for the use of the label photo, if you've not done so already.
