Lost from Ship n Shore

Hi Everyone,

I found this sweet little Ship'n Shore blouse at the thrifto. What you can't see are the belt loops at the side (no belt) and side vents.

White contract stitching is in great condition. Unusually long narrow breast pocket. Label is similar to what others are proclaiming to be 50's / 60s Ship'n Shore blouses.

Do you think this is a 50s/60s blouse also?

Based on the style, fiber content, and collar shape, I date your S & S tunic blouse to the 70s.

Cute blouse - I agree with Joules and would date as early '70s, or perhaps late '60s.

Here's a 1953 Ship'n Shore ad - the big pockets were already in use then, but I think with the fabric being part polyester, yours would be later than 50s.

yep, agree w/Joules, its the jumbo-tron-long collar tips and the tunic length, top-stitching and polyester blend that really really really say 70s, not 50s.
