Lost in translation

Thought this might be Polish but the only word that translates on the Polish translator I found (which must be fairly new because I've looked for years and they were all pay sites) is Pismo which means letter.

Danas jesmo sutra nismo
Tako Kaze Sveto Pismo

I can try to ask my Mom when I call her later but that might be more trouble than it's worth.

I can rule out the romance languages (French, Spanish, Portuguese & Italian) & German, having studied all of those.

My Polish is so-so but I can't make sense of it. Provided I never learned how to read it, just conversational Polish with a big Canadian twist.

It reminds me a little of the Ukrainian language which I spoke a little as a child with my grandmother.

Ok, glad I didn't go with thinking it was Polish and ask my Mom who has Alzheimer's.
I would have totally confused her!

I'm late but about all I knew was that is wasn't Polish. I grew-up and live in Greenpoint Brooklyn aka Little Poland. Seeing it so much in signs in the store windows and newspapers I can just recognize it now. I definitely can't speak it or translate it, though! lol
