It snowed all day yesterday and I took this before it got dark last evening. The spots in the picture are from the snow still falling. It is a winter wonderland here.:snowman:

Wow Linda, that is so beautiful! It is 12 degrees centegrade (my spelling could be totally off there) here and I am so disappointed. We had snow there a few weeks ago (unusual for November) and I was so excited that we were actually going to get a white winter, but it seems not so. Instead we are getting unusually high December temperatures, up to 14 degrees in places - that is a spring temperature here (and sometimes summer!). It isn't a bit of wonder my Dad talks about 'the season' as in there only is one season in Ireland.

Anyway there I go off on a rant, your picture really is beautiful though. I love snow and I always want it to snow and be all wintry coming up to Christmas, but it never seems to happen.

We definitely have all four seasons here. Meant to get some pictures of the beautiful gold and red maple trees when they were turning.

What a neat idea on the picture! Maybe I will!

Snow still on ground here but messy looking now. It is always much prettier when it first comes down.

We don't have 4 seasons here either, Emma. We have spring, summer, and a very Looooong autumn. The leaves fall from November through march and we can never ever finish raking!

nor me! i am very jealous linda (though not so jealous of the brown sludge it turns into, lol!) as i desperately want it to snow.
i really want finlay (now 3 and a half) to actually see some PROPER snow soon as it is so magical when you're small... but it's not looking likely this year so far. am very tempted to go over to germany for a snowy christmas trip next year just so he can see some there!

Chris, that is what my son, Brandon, hated about Florida when he was stationed there.

Harriet, I grew up in Mississippi so I was not use to seeing all this snow either. It was so much fun watching the neighbors across the street building snowmen and sledding.

ok, but it needs to be powdery and white. i think i've always wanted to go to maine - i had an anne of green gables obsession going on when i was younger... that's new england isn't it?
although you've just reminded me, when i first started using the internet i joined a dating thing - more for a bit of fun than anything - and corresponded with a gentleman from maine. it was when he began to give me hourly reports on the thickness (exact, and in mm) of the snowfall that i decided i was possibly even worse at internet dating choices than real life ones and decided to stop writing back...
still like the sound of maine though :D

Jamie,

All my family was born in Texas but me! Hot and more hot!
