Hi,
I’m new to this forum and also not very familiar with vintage clothing.
My grandmother recently asked me to sell some of her old clothes because she hasn’t worn it for decades, haha.
I stumbled upon a Louis Féraud set, I’m guessing it’s from the 80s.
I was searching the internet to find some information about the price but there are so many different prices out there that I’m not sure what to ask.
Maybe you guys have a clue?

The set is still in perfect condition. The dress is made of suede, the blazer is made of velvet.

The forum doesn’t do any valuations. It’s about identification, dating, and helping with other garment-related questions. That being said, I advise you do a search of sold items on eBay to get an idea of what things have sold for. If you’re in doubt, you can always put something up for a high “buy it now” price with “best offer“ enabled, and see what kind of offers you get. It’s also informative to see how quickly you receive offers, and how many watchers you get. If you get a lot of fast offers and a lot of watchers, then obviously there’s interest.

Agreed with Jen. Also, what I do is look at what people have similar items listed for and I put my items at the low end of that range. I do not find that high-priced items sell for me. Maybe some sellers can get those prices, but I'd rather make a sale and allow someone to get something they want at a reasonable price. Presentation is a big deal too, make sure you iron or steam the garments and take nice photos ideally on a mannequin or dress form with good lighting.

Is "suede" a typo? It looks like a silk dress? Very pretty. See if Google lens will show you any sold comps?

Hello and welcome! I would agree with the 1980s, or 1990 at the latest, as the label says 'made in W Germany' which helps with dating as West Germany and East Germany took place in 1990. If you could show the care labels, that may help with narrowing the date down a bit more.
