I guess the theme for me this month is pj party or something...

I think this is a lounging outfit. It's hot pink (will have to redo pics as the colour is off by a mile) faille, high waisted pants with back zip and tapered legs (heck of a time getting the end of the pant over the manny) and lace/faille top. I think it's homemade, embroidered "Kathy" on the inside.

Am I early 60s with this and would this be any good for VLV?

Hi Deb,

That neckline to me says more 1950s than 60s and the fact that the pants appear to be a cigarette pant styling. I also am pretty sure the top should be tucked into the pant, might have had a matching belt and then again maybe not.

Fun outfit...good luck with the posting!
 
Neat outfit! It looks 50s to me too although I would have thought more mid 50s because of the wide collar. Those tapered slim pants are in by then.

I guess what throws me off is the brilliance of the colour - I mean this is hot hot hot pink (not quite electric) - not something I usually associate with 50s, but then again I don't have the experience you guys have. And because of the colour I thought perhaps someone took a pattern and may have sewn it together at later time.
