lycra swimsuit help dating that

hi there, if would please! need and appreciate some help with this swimsuit, the tag says lycra, im not sure wich era and also if this is also kind of authentic.

I think it's '70s or even maybe '80s judging by the higher cut leg. It looks like a slightly out of date style for an older woman, as it has the sort of bust cups that were popular in the '60s-70s and the foam shape may have been cut out due to deterioration.

If there's no other Jantzen labelling, I'd suspect the swimming girl motif had been added, it's more common to see that style on earlier suits. You can compare the labels to the ones in the LR.

What do you want to know? I'm not sure if I can help but I'll do my best. Your Lycra tag appears to be in German (?), that's interesting. Maybe investigate if Jantzen made for the German market. My '70s Jantzens all have Jantzen labels as well as the diving girl, perhaps you could see if there was a Jantzen interior label that has been removed? I can't tell from your photos.

hi, no theres no signs of label removing... im just wondering if this is from lycra and if this is authentic lycra tag /brand or from jantzens.. the swimsuit is for sure vintage , i do know some things about vintage items but this one is tricky, thats why i posted it to get more infos about it...

and yes i checked jantzens had manufactered in europe france and also germany.. i found some infos about it..

Lycra is a branded fiber, Jantzen is a clothing brand. I don’t think Lycra ever manufactured clothing per se. So it could be made by Jantzen using Lycra fiber. Nicole’s question was about the possibility that it was made by another company out of Lycra and then the Jantzen logo added later.

hi there, it seems that if was made between late 1970s to early 1990 s, by Jantzen for european markett with lycra fabric...and yes jantzen did produce some swimwear with swimmer lady logo embroidered and no tags... I did some research. Thank you a lot for the help dating this correctly...sorry for any confusion! i was bit confused my self! thanks again! best to you all!
