Lydia\'s Egyptian Flappers
At an estate sale years ago I bought some simple works of art from a then-elderly local artist. In her youth (in the 1920s) Lydia apparently aspired to be a fashion illustrator, as I found many fashion-related art school projects of hers that were created to satisfy her assignments. Among them was this fun bit of lighthearted art that neatly summarized the Egyptomania that influenced the 1920s after Tut's tomb was discovered. There is no better group with which to share this bit of Lydia's levity and I know she would appreciate this.
