Hi all!

A good friend and regular customer at our shop (Elsewhere Vintage, in Orange, CA!!) just submitted a photo for the Casting Call contest for a walk on part on MAD MEN!!
Her photo was taken right here in front of my shop - in Old Towne Orange.

She's gotten kind of a late start -- but she's easily one of the better applicants. I'm disgusted by how many applicants aren't even TRYING and yet have thousands of votes!!!

and i love that you don't have to sign up/register/dance-a-jig in order to vote, what a luxury to just click a button!

I've voted. The guys just haven't put the effort in, but are getting all the votes...women voting I guess...not with their heads, or their hearts - voting with their hormones I reckon.

Interesting how many of them are smoking and/or drinking. Is this what they see in Mad Men or were they just snapped at a party? I really wish that ladies would consider their accessories more; a good vintage dress but the efffect is ruined by thoughtless modern shoes or hand bag.
