So here I am trying to get things going and keep things going when----------BAM!!!!!

Some person decides that my busniess accounts has the money to fund their little fun......

So now I am dealing with 2500+ dollars in charges to my account and overdraft fees to boot.....:flaming::mad:

Can anyone say "mad chick here".........and aiming to hurt.....and having so much fun trying to figure out how this person got access and how to do a quick switch-a-roo of all my accounts. And oh the helpful people in the fraud department are sooooo nice too!!!!!!!!!

AGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I so just want to find a corner to cry in......:(:wacko:

It's just unbelievable that things like this happen. I'm so sorry, and I hope you get it straightened out. Isn't there a $50 cap on situations like this?

Lizzie

That's horrible, Jamie. It's such an intrusion, violation... I hope the issue is resolves itself sooner than later.

I thought their was a cap on multi charges too, but apparently not at my bank.......so needless to say I will be shopping for a new bank.....

and yes, I feel very much like I have been totally violated......:flaming:

Jamie.....was that identify fraud? a regular bank/charge account? or online account.

Wish I had wonderful words of advice to help you out, but just know there are many folks thinking good thoughts & positive energy to you - soak it in!

It was through a regular bank and it was all online transcations, overseas transcations b/c I got a currency conversation fees charges. The bank said that someone got a hold on my credit card information.

I have no clue how they got it. I only make charges with it at stores. And I have the card on me. It hasn't left my wallet.

It took until yesterday to get my account cleared of everything. I am so mad at them for taking that long. I had a waiter at a resturant help himself to an extra tip amount about 4 months ago on my personal account and my bank took the whole charge off in less then 24 hours.

I have my account back at last..........

I felt like a piece of me was taken and then given back trashed.......

I am glad they finally came through. :) What an ordeal!

My brother resently found out someone has been withdrawing money from my mother's bank account. She gave her information to someone claiming to work for the bank :USEGUN: He is straightening up this mess with the bank and hopefully, it will never happen again. Mom is begining to be extremely forgetful so I think he will become her Power of Attorney soon, too.

I think this stuff is happening way too often for comfort anymore. My brother in law refuses to deals with banks.

I am getting to that point. I don't even like having credit cards. Learned that mistake really fast and paid those suckers off fast. I feel like there isn't alot of places I trust to place my money in anymore. :sniff:

We are very fortunate to have a local bank that has been in business for over 100 years...their moto is "Your Good Neighbor Bank". The board of directors have lived here most of their lives and are known by nearly everyone. I don't trust banks that are bought and sold on a regular basis and change their names frequently....have those locally, too.

Credit unions are usually a very safe place and I would highly recommend them......
