Hi all,

I mentioned a while ago that I was being featured in a magazine article about vintage collectors: well, here it is -

It was published in the Good Weekend magazine, which is included in the weekend edition of The Age (Melbourne) and The Sydney Morning Herald - also it appears in the Brisbane Times online - here's a link to the article if you're interested in reading it. I was one of five collectors interviewed.

It was written by Lee Tulloch, who wrote "Fabulous Nobodies", they're currently making a film about it set in NYC in the '80s. It's one of my favourite books, so it was a real honour to be interviewed by Lee.
 
A huge congratulations to Nicole, and a wonderful piece of exposure! I was the lucky one who being in Australia got to read this article in hard copy format this morning over coffee. Yeah :drinkingtoast:
 
Thanks Gayle - was it the SMH version you read? I'm curious about whether a hard copy is available in Brisbane, ie the Brisbane Times, because it's available online.

I should confess that Circa isn't the biggest vintage shop in Australia, but we do have the biggest online shop - and I probably have the biggest collection of real vintage.

Hollis - I did wonder if the coat was one of yours. I imagine that Inger is a good customer of many VFG sellers, certainly she's a good one of mine, as she appreciates and cares for '20s styles and has a discerning eye.

It's a gorgeous coat, and you can see how much Inger loves it!
 
It looks so good on her, I had to look twice to see if was the one I thought it was. It has a purple velvet lining, too.
