Here is a great article in today's Times about the new flea market in Brooklyn. Little did I know that the Chelsea fleas were going away.

Interesting, indeed!

My Mom just brought me a clipping from the June 07 (she's a bit behind in her reading!) Better Homes & Gardens mag about flea markets. They highlight several of the big ones, Rose Bowl, Brimfield, Springfield OH, Wheaton IL, and Canton TX. It's an interesting read, if you're on the hunt for something for yourself, but doesn't sound like these are the places to go to get a hot deal on resale items.
I think the days of the dirty flea market are pretty much gone, unless you're in a more rural area. Even those in my neck of the woods have their fair share of TupperPamperedScentedCandle sellers. Gack.
