Many Questions on a FAB 50\'s Sea Nymph Swimsuit Set

Ok, first has anyone heard of Sea Nymph? I searched ebay and found nothing. I'd like to know if it's "title worthy" or just a run-of-the-mill 50's bathing suit.

Second, what does the "weight 200/224" mean? I know it's a bigger size.... hopefully that'll mean bigger bucks, especially for the viva crowd!

Third, it's actually a boned swimdress (with no attached panty, no crotch, just a dress) with a pair of matching "boy cut" bottoms to go underneath. Could it be a maternity set or just a standard 2-piece set?

Fourth, does the missing halter strap affect the set's value? Is there ANY chance someone here might have a spare? :hysterical:

Sorry to be a PITA, but since this set has a lot of cool details going on with it, I really want to kick butt when listing it. Any help is much appreciated!!

This shows the actual shape of both pieces:

I think separates were standard issue, you didn't have to have one in the oven to wear them.
I would guess the weight would give you at least a large size, but the measurements stretched and unstretched will be the most important thin in your auction.

You might suggest a satin ribbon run through the loops, for bodice security if you're just sipping cocktails poolside...would flop in the pool, though.

Cute 50's suit. I wouldn't use Sea Nymph in the title and use up valuable KW's, I don't think it maternity at all, just standard issue. I dont think the missing strap will affect your end price, strapless wearers might like this for the sun tan effect. Just mention it in your listing. Good luck with it!
