Martha - coat/cape ?s

This double-layer organza with linen trim capey kinda coat probably had a matching dress at one time. I think it's 50s, but the sleeves seem so short ??? and I'm not sure if this is the same Martha that is in the resource - but considering she had a shop in Palm Beach, perhaps she was in Miami as well.

So before I put for the resource do you think this is the same Martha and do you think this is 50s?

I wouldnt call this 50s as it is lacking definition, it seems later to me

I am not an expert but in my experience, opera coats are usually of a thicker material, particularly velvet.They were also favoured during the 30s, the style of which doesnt match your coat.
