Mary Tapia - information please and potential date

Hi all

I’d really like some help with this one - I came across this gorgeous coat today - labelled as ‘Fatto a mono’ by Mary Tapia.

it really is a lovely thing, beautifully finished and in great condition, and I would love to know more about it. I’ve found a few bits and pieces about Mary Tapia on the web, but would love to hear any thoughts/information people have about her and the likely date…

it’s described as 100% lano - which I’m assuming based on Google translate is wool!!!

PS I’ve just found an interesting article which suggests she was asked to design for an Italian boutique (fatto a mano) around 2000… which might explain why it doesn’t look like her trademark embroidered style…

still really interested to see what people thing! X
