Hi there,

I bought both pairs at the same time, in their original boxes. The one box even has written on the outside, "Kelly - GREEN SHOES". Anyhoo, the issue is that they are both small sizes, 5 1/2 B & 6. The blue purse has 2 stains on it, both which appear to be water or something, but nothing I want to attempt to fix. The green lucite ones have def been worn a few times. Any comments/suggestions?

I am sure that there is a gal with small feet somewhere out there that will see those sets as the must have to top off an outfit.

That green set is great!!!

What about the stains on the blue purse? Personally, I'd just flip it to the other side and fugheaboudit....

Great sets!

Hmmm, the stains. Well, I think there might still be someone out there who would groove on the set. If you aren't comfortable attempting to clean it, just be sure to fully disclose the issue. Perhaps just throw the purse in for free with the shoes??

Just a thought!

I mean I would *try* on the stains, but I've heard that set in water stains are the WORST to get out!
Any suggestions?

I have had luck with water stains but its not easy. Get a hair dryer ready to go as soon as you are done washing it. Then dry it on cool setting as quick as possible sorta fanning out as you go. Sometimes it doesn't work and you have to keep doing it over and over. like I said its not easy.

well...I assume they are being sold as a set, so sell it at the price you would set for the shoes alone, or just a bucj or two higher. If sold seperately, the purse would be iffy, but i agre - keep them together and disclose the issue.

Va-va-voom! Surely, the green will bring lots of green.

I've had luck, also, with carefully saturating the entire exterior of fabric shoes with a wet cotton ball, even using some soap on stains, to get rid of water spots. I agree that you could skip it and throw in the purse (still mentioned in title) as a freebie, though.

It sounds like an art over a science for getting water stains out. It makes sense...water based stains are best got out in water but its so much easier on an item that you can toss in the washer!

Good luck if you try and work on the stain and let us know if it comes out.
