Matching pj sets existed before or it's a modern day trend

I'm seeing a lot trend for the matching pjs for whole family but I rarely watched anything like that in the old movies that families were wearing matching sets (Reference link removed by Moderator). Is it just me who is thinking like that or did it exist in old fashion too? I'm just curious.

I searched on Etsy too but didn't saw anything vintage in matching outfits.

I know they go back to the 1950s - I can't put my hands on any images at the moment, but I have seen ads for matching pjs, at least for a man and woman - not sure about the whole family.

Not pajamas, but I certainly remember Mother-daughter matching dresses in the 50s and 60s. And coordinating aloha sets for couples - a pake mu or mumu for her with a matching shirt for him.

The mother-daughter sets were also a thing in sewing patterns, there's quite a few examples there - mostly 1950s.

I remember matching pj's and mother/daughter dresses from my own 1960s/70s childhood. I don't recall it being a very popular trend, however... at least not in my Midwest USA suburban area. The family pj thing was generally Christmas-related, IIRC.
