I've just renewed my membership. I joined two years ago and have truly enjoyed being a member and want to tell you why--just in case you are considering membership.
I'm not a dealer, but I'm a very good shopper. I might add that I know a great deal about couture and expensive ready-to-wear construction as well as fabrics since these are the topics which I write about most often.
I was among the first non-retailer professionals to join. In addition to the incredible amount of knowledge I have gained from other members, the guild members have a comraderie that is exceptional. If you are qualified to be a member I encourage you to apply--you want regret it.
