Men\'s Pants Help

Ok Sorry but I have another question. I'm trying to ID and date these men's pants. They are wool, button fly, no cuffs and have belt loops. There is what appears to be a watch pocket on the left. No markings except for the word perfect and something else I can't read stamped inside the waist band.
I was thinking maybe these were military? Any ideas?




 
military or outdoor wear

The pants do look military to me. I am assuming they are made of very heavy khaki colored wool. We used to see these being sold for outdoor wear, such as for hunting, in Post War II military surplus stores. They are still practical and sturdy.

Date?

They could be earlier. Someone who is knowledgeable about uniforms may know if WWII military pants had metal zippers.
