Mens’ shoes question

I have these two pairs of shoes that were my Dad’s. They’ve been in bags in the attic for years and I have done nothing to them yet.

The black pair is from Peal and Co - “made exclusively in England for Brooks Brothers.” I don’t know A) if they’re worth listing, since the leather has some cracks and B) what this style is called. The interesting thing to me is they still have that wonderful scent of quality leather despite all the years. Part of the “shoe horn” reminds me of some kind of vintage dentist implement. These shoes are maybe 50 years old or so?

The brown pair also has some cracking in the leather, They are shoes Dad had made to fit his foot by John Lobb. I think some kind of polish (saddle soap?) would freshen these shoes up, because the leather is so good. Any comments? Thanks - Amanda

The black loafers are probably not older than the 1960s. The style was introduced in the 1930s but was very scarce until the 1960s and was at its most popular in the 1980s. I think you should adjust the aluminum shoe trees because they are pushing the sole into a curve which indicates they are too tight. The brown oxfords look 1950s to me.
