The components and result are quite beautiful, but I hope she's working with parts/damaged pieces...

I of course asked.. she says she buys mostly scrap pieces

how beautiful to convert the scrap! i have a framed mirror similar, but not as many whole pieces, mostly tiny bits.

Carrie and Ang echoed my thoughts, exactly. I try to "save" and salvage good quality vintage jewelry. You can repair or replace missing pin stems and/or broken clasps, and most of the time you can replace missing stones.

Her work is very creative - I'm glad to hear she is not destroying usable jewelry.
