Mexican Circle Skirt, 50\'s - What\'s the theme here?

What are these guys? First, I was thinking some sort of S. American Indian but seems like they're 'dressed' rather oddly for a warm weather environment.

The skirt says "Hecho En Mexico" on the fabric tag. That's the only tag in the skirt.

I think you're on the right track. Remember that there are mountains in just about every country in the Americas - in fact, I think there ARE mountains in every country. And it gets chilly and even COLD in the mountains.

What is that signature? Sinoma?

@bycin! LOL! You're never going to believe this - actually, that is my website and I haven't updated it in a very, very long time. Apparently, I put it on the website a LOOOONG time ago and then forgot about it. When I went to look at my items in my already listed bin, I didn't remember listing this and I didn't see it in my etsy items so I took pictures of it, started doing research, and planned on listing it. How funny. Thanks for finding that.

And I wonder why ever I thought it was 70s?

LOL! Now that's a kick in the pants to update my website more often if there ever was one.
