Miss America Shoes

I have never bought or listed shoes before so this is a first for me. I am wondering what in the heck to call these. I have googled different terms and looked at websites for examples but so far nothing is striking me as a good description...have seen "box heels", "loafer pumps", and similar terms. Is there a term that best describes these shoes? Also, am I correct in thinking 60s or are these more 70s? The white part of the shoes is a patent vinyl and the navy strip is leather. They are by Miss America. They are actually in really good shape on the outside and also a larger size (9) so I decided to venture into the unknown with shoes.

Let me know if I need to put up more pics...

Thank you!!!!!

Maureen

Miss America is the brand, not the maker, but I don't remember who made that line at the moment. They are c. 1969ish. I would call them pumps with breasted heels (the breast is the inner curve between the heel and sole, that shows the heel was applied before the outer sole was applied, which is more difficult than a knock-on heel which is added after the sole is applied.

Very nice shoes, and

that's great to know - so good to learn this stuff.

Those are really cute, and I've had some pretty good luck in selling this era & style of shoe, with rounded toe and chunky or chunky-ish heel, on eBay in the past and on other sites.

Joules, I wore them to death in the early 80s. Still wearing her Lanz minis. I once told my dad that (they've been divorced for decades) and he said, "Glad someone's wearing them. She just bought things and let them sit in the closet." ha ha
