The other night I was fortunate to be asked to judge in the Victorian heat of the Miss Pin Up Australia contest - here's Miss Bailey Hart, who won the Miss Perfect Pin Up category:

It was a lot of fun - even though I was one of the judges, I couldn't resist taking lots of photos from my vantage spot next to the stage. You can see more at my blog here.

The ladies dressed for four sections: day wear, evening wear, lingerie and swimwear. They could wear either true vintage or reproduction vintage style, with some brave ladies mixing the two types.

I'm going to be coming up your way too: they've asked me to help judge the final in Coolangatta next January - perhaps we could meet at last? I'm also coming up on Sunday October 17th to see the Valentino exhibition at the Queensland Art Gallery. Don't suppose you'd be free for coffee?
