I received the Style.com newsletter today, a great fashion resource if you don't already get it. Mod was all over the place. It had a great link with photos timekining the trend. With all the knowledge we gained from the Senti's workshop, we'll be ready for the next vintage fashion trend!

GREAT!!!!

I am so happy about this. I am split in my fashion tastes between 40s suits and Mod and my "demographic" was not really satisfied this past year.

I am so glad to hear this! I have my "Mod" navy blue coat up right now. Will have to go check that newsletter out.

Well I shall be stocking up on shoes and knee high boots as soon as the cheaper versions hit the highstreet (I'd be willing to pay for the odd designer knee high boot but they're all in leather and I'm a devoted vegetarian and won't wear the stuff), and I am hoping that all the heavy eye make-up comes back in too so that I can easily wander around with cleopatra eyes.

*but* I shall switch to the Kings Road Hippie look til it's all over as I can't stand people thinking I'm following modern fashion trends. Childish I know, but I'm sure people here will understand that when you've fought so hard to do your own thing and battled through all the bad reactions you get from people, it suddenly feels all wrong to be wearing what everyone else is wearing and have everyone thinking you're a devoted trend catcher.

Hurray for cute little 60s shoes, hurray for knee high boots and go-go boots, hurray for heavily made up eyes!

love, moons and starrs,
Senti.*
