Monogrammed Button - Can you make out?

Picked up a very cute but simple black dress today. Only label is an older ILGWU (by that I mean not r/w/b) and nothing else. It does have these interesting buttons. Have been staring for quite awhile and have come up with a bunch of different combinations for the letters but now am seeing all sort so things. Thought I would post here and see if anyone could make out the letters or (probably doubtful) anyone had ever seen before.

I see a P first, then an S and then I don't know...plus those could be wrong!

It seems to me that these may be an abstracted design to mimic a monogram, if that is possible, and I suppose it is.
I'm going a bit cross-eyed looking at it. ;)

I was thinking the same thing - they are supposed to look like a monogramme but its just an artistic interpretation.

I'm inclined to agree: I see a "P" and then a "S" but the last letter is not a letter, it could be a stylised ampersand "&" but it's kind of back to front, so considering the last non-letter I think it's an artistic invention, not a monogramme.
