More NOS buckles and some matching buttons - 1930s too?

Ok, here are the remaining buckles, which I had put in the 30s already from my gut feeling. Again, the plastics are very light, and the colorful buckles are quite thin. I don't think there's any bakelite involved.

These here feature some carving. Again, they're dull / matte on the back, especially the one on the left. Those two on the right are very clever - never seen anything like it!

Here I have some with buttons that I think are made the same way? The buttons didn't come from the Caritas shop though - my friend in Vienna found them, they're from the estate of a lady who used to be a seamstress. We worked through a whole bag of buttons that ranged in age anywhere from these to 70's (covered in bright poly fabric). It just stuck me that they seemed to match these buckles in style and the way they were made.

Last ones! Some mother of pearl here, combined with plastic, and plastic and metal. The yellow plastic looks more yellow on the scanner than it actually is. I guess it was clear once and yellowed with age.

TIA!

They are wonderful!!! Obviously you can use them as they were intended. You can also thread ribbon through them and wear them as chokers, or put ribbon through the openings, fasten a long pin onto the back and they become brooches.

Thanks! I am hearing you... still trying to decide which ones to sell and which ones to keep. They moved the stuff already on from our shop here. I am going to try and find out to which one it is going next. I had thought it would be here for a week longer, so that I could maybe go back.Well, there aren't too many choices of where they might have these things on sale next, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
