Mmmhhh, the first one, says more "eastern Europe" (Balkans, Russia, Czech Republic, Poland, these kind of countries) to me, I wouldn't say Middle Eastern or Arabian, their styles are different.
The second one - since it says "Made in China" in English and in French, I shouldn't wonder if it was made to be sold in Canada. That just sort of jumped to my mind, because that's what they really do there, but it could be written in both languages also for another reason.
I see a lot of this kind of style blouses at the secondhand shops that my best friend and I shop at when I visit her (she lives in Vienna). We go to those that mostly function as goodwill stores, so they can have anything from vintage to H&M-pieces from last year that somebody donated to the shop. It's a kind of floklore-y/peasanty style that I would also think takes its inspiration from eastern Europe. I've looked at some of these blouses, asking myself more than once if I should buy one. I usually thought that they were from the 1970s, and lately I got the impression that there were also fairly new one around - like this style had come into fashion again.
