Vertugarde steered us to some wonderful fashion photos of John Rawlings. Going foward from that eye candy link I found THIS LINK - photography by Mark Shaw which includes some great behind the scene shots at Paris fashion shows in the 1950’s. Ah the gowns! Many shots of models getting dressed by staff and helping each other. Also I was intrigued by the people viewing the fashions on the floor - very different from today’s celebrity/Anna Wintour crowd.

Wow, the woman in the center back of that 2nd shot certainly puts the bed the idea that the super-skinny fashion model is a modern concept! She is SOO thin!!
