Movie costume 50s hat help

Some friends are trying to recreate the lovely vintage costumes of the movie Clue as faithfully as possible. I'm trying to figure out exactly what kind of hat Mrs. White wears in the film, so I can either obtain or make a similar hat. At first, I thought it was a typical pillbox, but upon looking at better pictures, it is something different that I can't identify. After hours of internet searches have turned up nothing, I figured I'd ask the experts.

That sounds like a great idea for a costume party! I have seen that type hat referred to as either a dish hat, or sometimes a saucer hat. Madeline's hat looks bit like a smaller, scaled down version of the classic 1947 Christian Dior "dish" hat. Searching with those key words should turn up some possibilities for you.
