Museum tipps for Amsterdam

I just spent some wonderful sunny days in Haarlem, Holland, but yesterday, before flying home in the evening, I spent the day in Amsterdam, just to go to two museums.

And I can only recommend them to anyone who's into vintage fashion:
Hermitage Amsterdam
The exhibition is about live at the Russian czar's court 1800-1917, and there are loads of vintage ladies' dresses to be seen, most of them are ca. 1890-1910, but there are older ones two, including formal court gowns. And many, many dresses by Worth, some worn by the last two czarinas. There's also shoes, accessories, jewelry, masquerade costumes, portraits and lots more. I spent four very happy hours in there!

Handbag museum
And the handbag museum - it's not huge, but they have some really, really great things - and quite a lot of stuff. I loved it!
