My first eBay auction! Wish me luck! (non vintage item)

Well done Roxy - I think it sounds great, and you've given a far more thorough condition report than you often get which is very encouraging for bidders.

Sure they will do well, it just takes a while for people to notice things at first I think

Great description and a beautiful pair of boots! Mmmm must get out all my size 4s.
Hi! Thanks for that:)

Yes, even though they're modern, they are nice;)

Hopefully they'll sell and someone can enjoy them:USETHUMBUP:

Thanks Harriet:)

I find it sooooooooooooo anoying when people can't be bothered to write a decent amount of description!

Some people only write one line don't they!? It certainly puts me off bidding.

Yes, hopefully it'll get going and someone will want them;)

Just concerned now it's (hopefully!) nearly summer that no-one will want to buy boots!

Oh well, I have a pair of mules, and two pairs of new flip flops to go on next!:bouncy:

My mum thinks I've written a good description :D

You done all the hard work ::USETHUMBUP:sit back and have a cup of tea! looks good with a nice description, that really helps.
I do not sell a lot on Ebay, for me and all the action seems to happen on the last day or even minutes, in the end it works out and I am certain it will for you also.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for the encouragement and kind words:bouncy:

I'll report back about how it went next week!

Well actually..they are a British 7 right??

A 6.5 is a USA 8, so these would probably run to be around an 8.5 or 9 in the US, right?

Looks very good Roxy!

The first few listings are always a bit nervewracking! :)

Before you know it.... it will be easy as anything.

It is a bit quiet right now, so don't be discouraged if they don't get action right away.
Good Luck with them!

What about putting UK 7 in the title. WHen people search internationally they might overlook it thinking it is a US 7. And sometimes people do UK X US X "replace X with size of course".

I understand your frustration that they didn't sell the first time around....been there, done that..... ebay drives me nutty.....

It's all about the wording and the catch word that you place in the title. Could drive you to :booze: (drink)!!!!!! hehehehehehe

good luck sweetie

Thanks everyone:USETHUMBUP:

The boots didn't sell (I tried them twice), but I've since sold two pairs of flipflops and some mules! Hooray!::spin:

I'll try the boots again in the autumn :-)
