Thought it might be fun to show off my antique doll clothes that I listed yesterday. Such detail for such little fashions!

the hairpin lace cloak is so pretty! i daren't start developing an interest in dolls vintage as i know i would get carried away.. lovely things

wow... ya know I've never had alot of experience actually fitting the clothes to the doll size! Oddly enough, I don't sell /deal with early dolls much - just their clothes! But If if had to guestimate I'd say a 6-8 in. doll. Course the capes and apron could fit a taller, thin doll. That little robe and petticoat lot are definitely 6 inch-est doll.

You know, I cannot help but think of the original little girl that made these or who helped her mom... or the little girl and the look on her face when she received her doll with that crochet cape on, how her eyes widened with delight... it just brings so many visions to mind. Thank you for sharing
