My pretty Shaheen goddess dress...

Picked this up today, too! I normally don't pick up these type of maxis but this one is NOS with original tags AND most importantly, the original belt. I believe the belt would be considered an Obi belt. I can't decide which way to tie it. Which way do you like best??

That's awfully pretty! I like the obi tied so that the tie is centered in front.

Personally, I think I like way it's tied in the second picture best. I guess because it looks like a more traditional obi, with a cleaner line - just my opinion.

Also - holy cats, I love that dress!! What a great find! What size is it?

Maybe I will show it tied both ways in the listing to show the versatility??

I haven't measured it yet but I would guess it would be a modern size 10 or so.

Thanks everyone!! There were actually 4 Shaheens at the sale. This was the only one that had tags and two of the others had spots. At $20 a pop, I only took the one. I may go back on bargain day and see if I can get a deal!

It's tricky with the 70s Shaheens, they don't always do well. This one had so much going for it though, I couldn't pass it up!
