IMG_3371.jpeg Hi everyone, this forum seems marvelous and I’m excited to expand my knowledge on all things vintage. I’ve accumulated a few pieces of vintage that I’m trying to date/learn more on and this is one of them.

the fabric seems almost chromatic in some ways. Trying to learn more on the type of fabric as well as a value! Thank you in advance

Do you mean it changes colour depending how the light falls on it? It might be a changeant fabric like shot silk

we can’t help with value, sorry, see the forum rules

It looks like an iridescent taffeta or shot silk depending on the fiber content. Can you post a photo of the interior and reverse of the fabric?
