Mystery jeans??

Picked up some jeans at the thrift shop that i thought looked nice, and got curious about the brand later at home… except half the tag is missing and hours of googling and scouring forums has left me still questioning what the heck these even are…

Serged seams, french metal zipper “ECLAIR” from eclair prestil, “scovill” rivets, funky patch on the back that reads “Bogart®️ PARIS Original Design” and has a strange coat of arms that looks like a parody of the US one

Whats left of the tag reads “100% Baumwolle” (german for cotton) “40” (they fit me perfectly and im a size 2 so idk what kinda sizing that is…) and then there are some laundry symbols that didnt quite match any of the ones i found on the history of care symbols…

They feel really good quality, strong, stiff denim, consistent colour (so not ring spun?) and have deep pockets.

They look lighter wash irl i think

If any more details are needed let me know!

Ive found now almost identical zipper pulls were on louis vuitton bags pre-1980’s? Maybe a clue

more zipper… back of slider has a tiny “G3” stamped on it, and it looks like the slider was designed to be able to switch out the pull?

I'm not a jeans person, but the 100% pure cotton with the skinny leg, light wash, and natural slightly high waistline combination add up to early 90s in my estimation.

Im pretty certain they are imitating levis jeans, the arcuate on the back pocket even has the “diamond” shape, and the button looks like a levis one just without the brand on it.

Couple more details:
Chain-stitching on waistband
Lockstitch on hems
Single stitch on pockets
Blind stitching on the leg seams

Yeah 80’s or 90’s seems most likely to me, would trends in Europe be offset from the states at all? Finding information on non american jeans is not easy :/
