Mystery Ring

Good morning:
This ring was found when my father passed over 23 years ago. He had it for years but nobody can tell me anything about or where it came from. It's at least 50 years old, probably older. In the pics you can see it's 10k and the letters B&F. I was hoping someone could shed some light, other than what I found on Google. Thank you.

It looks 50s... B&F is Baden and Foss and there's a bit about them on the Net.

Forgot to mention... I would get that stone tested as it is likely synthetic but perhaps not.

That's as close as I could get. It says B&F. I guess I would take it to any jeweler to have it tested? Sorry, I know nothing about jewelry and I thank you for your response.

A jewelry can test it. Pawn shop too.
