Name for band around midrif?

Is there a name for this style where there is an extra wide fitted band between waist and underbust (or there abouts). It's probably in my book, but I can't seem to find it

Oh, I love that type of bodice. (I think Lei does, too.)

I have an old pattern that describes this as a molded Empire midriff...the figure to dazzle...

I tend to describe this effect as "cummerbund-like", though I know that's not technically correct...

I love the effect--so flatteringly elongating when you're a shrimp!
