Name for this Skirt Treatment?

I really like this dress with the little shrug. Is there a particular name for the skirt treatment? It is not really
draped or swagged....more like it is ruched up and poufed.

with the jacket....and is this a 'shrug' or 'bolero'?

Shrug is good - it does imply that the jacket doesn't actually come all the way to the center front.
And Pouffed sounds right on to me!

that is very pretty and I agree with shrug. Bolero would be longer and come together more like Hollis said.

I like pouffed.

In my 'pouffed' scattered state, I think after I took pics,
somehow the little shrug jacket got stuck in the charity
bag that was picked up on Monday. :( I did want to list this, but have spent 3 hours looking for the damn jacket...which I distinctly remember having in my hand with some stuff
that I also had decided to get rid of. (was going to measure the jacket...and put the rest in the bag). Well, jacket never was measured and it is now missing.

I'm hoping this is just hormones causing these brain farts of mine.

It's beautiful without it though. You've got my creative juices flowing....thinking about how to drape my dressmaker form to get that end result on the skirt. That's a new one on me....to the side; have seen some in the back though.

Sue, sorry to hear about the donation bag mix up. I once did the same thing, mistakingly mixing a bag of my own laundry with some bags bound for charity.

That dress reminds me a bit of one of my recent acquisitions for myself.

those are both GORGEOUS dresses!

Sue--Any chance you can run off the the donation center in question and inquire about the jacket? Maybe even purchase it back, if they're persnippy??

YAAAAAAYYYY!! I found the bolero jacket to this! It had fallen down behind the daybed in my Ebay room!
