Nann-Knits by Nannette

Anyone know anything about the Nannette MFG Co Inc (RN 14701) that was located on 3800 Frankford Avenue in Philadelphia. They manufactured Nann-Knits. Trademarkia reveals that the Nann Knits Trademark was applied for in 1978 (with Filing Date in 1981) for Infant/Toddler clothes. And at least by 2002, the trademark was Cancelled/Section 8. So does this mean that the Trademark was not issued until 1981? And was the Trademark cancelled due to Section 8 or Bankruptcy? So is it safe to assume that the whole company was closed in 2002? Any information you know about the Nann-Knit brand and its parent company Nannette MFG CO Inc. Thank you!

It means the trademark was granted and recorded by 1981, we can't know why it was cancelled, but the company does not have to cease trading for a trademark to be out of use. They may not use that brand any more, or more typically it is superceded by another trademark.
