Nathan Turk Casino Shirt - Age & Value

I recently acquired this shirt in excellent condition. There are 3 pin hole sized moth holes in one section but the rest is completely intact with no wear. All rhinestones and embroidery are in excellent condition. There is a small mark on the front that should come out with cleaning but I have not wanted to touch the shirt for fear of damage. It is believed to have belonged to a casino greeter in Las Vegas in the 1950's. I would like an opinion on value and age. I believe it may have been made in the late 1940's to very early 1950's. I will post more pictures separately. I have front, back, sleeves and label.

Nathan Turk Shirt Label

Here is a picture of the label. The lining in the shirt is in perfect condition as well as the edging on the bottom.

Imo, this is one of the nicer turk shirts I have seen. Love the images.

You can do a google search to see what they have sold for in the past anywhere from $200 on up.... But like I said, this one is FAB. It has all the bells and whistles. I know if this were mine I wouldn't be in a rush to sell and wait for the right buyer.

I'd price it at $1600. That's just me though...Other sellers may have a different opinion.

Wow. I wouldn't be in any hurry to sell that either, Tiffany. It would be hard not to admire and stroke it every day...

Additional Information on history of this shirt

This shirt was worn at the Flamingo Hotel by Abe Schiller, publicist and later executive vice president of the Flamingo Hotel. He was known for his flamboyant style and often wore embroidered, glitzy western shirts by Nathan Turk. I am searching the archives for pictures of him wearing this particular shirt.
