  1. Could someone help me think of a good auction title for this short brown wool coat. Mine stinks. :(

    Menswear Chic???

    Thanks!

    what is NWTOS?

    I know NWT = new w/tags
    NWOT= new w/o tags..

oh..maybe new with tag old stock?

if so, I would be tempted to put NOS = new old stock, as i don't think anyone would think to search for NWTOS..but that is just me...
NWT people search for, but i rarely put it on vintage because it confuses some people that it is "new new".

what about putting "belted" in there?

Linda, I agree with Chris, and would just put "NOS".

I would also lose the "menswear chic", I think. I don't have any
sellathon stats, but when I look at that title my eye sees 'menswear' and
my brain reads that this is a men's coat...no need to look (even though
it is obviously not, it is just a trick that MY brain plays)

I don't know if 70s is needed, maybe just the word "vintage" for
    searching.

    What about something like:

"Yummy Warm MOCHA Vintage Chic JACKET Coat NOS - 7"

Got to agree with Sue re the menswear.................I spent a while wondering why you'd kept a long wig on your manni for displaying a mans jacket!!! Then.............
    Doh!

    ;)

  5. I guess I was thinking about the boyish aspect this Fall..trying to play that up but forgot what the wording they were using on that.

Thanks, Sue. I will go with yours!

It really is a nice coat.

I usually use both NOS and deadstock. I think people search both ways.

  7. Okay, now take a look. I did a little changing.

Now if I could only make my photo coloring better on the top one. :D
