Need date help on this suit please!

It has me stumped!

Not even sure of the material .... possibly a lightweight wool. A little nubby but not quite boucle. Crepe lining.

Only label is "Rothmoor - Miller's - Knoxville, Tenn."

I have searched (even tried to search out some info about Miller's in Knoxville....but all I got was the Miller's building was erected in 1901.)

So....any help would be greatly appreciated! :)

Hi Christine,

Rothmoor Corporation was a maker of women's coats and suits. In the mid 40s they were considered one of the better makers! And your lovely suit shows why! That's so pretty!!

Rothmoor was located in Chicago and was a member of the Chicago Fashion Industries Group. Miller's would have been the store that sold your lovely suit and Tenn. would have been the stores location. If you narrow your google search down to just vintage rothmoor, you will get more garments to compare your's with!

Thank you SO MUCH!! I did search "vintage rothmoor" (as well as Miller's, Rothmoor, Rothmoor suits) - I just can't find anything quite like this!

I am going to borrow some of your info for the listing, if you don't mind! :)
