need help dating a hat please

I found this at a thrift store and was wondering if anybody familiar with the brand could help to tell me approximately when it was made.

I'm not familiar with the brand, but the "new wool" symbol indicates it's likely 1970s or more recent.

It's a classic style made for an older wearer, so less prone to fashion's rigours but I agree with a '70s date.

Well, I am in my early 40's, so I guess that qualifies me as a classic style too! I was guessing 70's or 80's, wasn't sure when 100%wool symbol was started. Thanks for the info! :D
