Need help dating an interesting broach or pin

When I am at the thrift shop sometimes I see things that I just can't leave there lol you know what I mean.

I don't sell jewelry I just like to use it to decorate my mannequins


I am wanting to know what you think of this flower pin?

It has a ceramic painted stem.
Yellow rhinestones that I cant tell if they are plastic or glass.....

The petals are like this very strange plastic like material not like the plastic you would see today


Does anyone have a guess on its decade or maybe know things about the orange petals?

Heat shaped Lucite petals. Enamel stem and leaves. Early 1960s. It's a really nice one, too. Looks to be in very good condition, too. I've always loved these brooches! I'm sure other members will give you some valuable input, too.

Wow thanks ! What i was thinking was right! I knew it wasn't modern plastic. Its really neat. Now I just need the perfect 60s or late 50s garment to pin it to!
