Need help dating and indentifying a very old Burberrys coat

Hi there everybody!

I've just signed up looking for some expert help on a vintage Burberrys coat. From my own research on the label it could be 1910's,20's,30's?

It also doesn't appear to be a traditional trench as it has no epaulettes or gun flap by design.

Your help is super appreciated.

Because of the collar and length of the coat, I think it might be late 40s - early 50s... let's see what other say.

I agree with Cin dating this to the 1940s. I had one nearly identical in navy blue, and on one of the inside pockets it was dated.

Whew!!! I really *struggled* with this one till it finally spoke to me.

That's a very nice coat. I agree with a '40s to early '50s dating.
