alright, so i'm really looking for a date/era on this one, as i am not familiar with menswear, especially if it may be antique. if possible, i'd love to be able to date it to a decade. i actually found this at a thrift store sale today for a few dollars, so i'm excited to see if this really is old or not.
from what i can see, the only writing i can see is on the back of the padback, satin covered buttons and says "Acme R & Co." other than that, there are no labels and it feels very heavy/well made. it's definitely wool, and my guess, lined with silk. the arms appear to be lined in a striped linen and pockets in the tails appear to be a linen as well. as for structure, the coat's sleeves are fairly wide and have a curve to them, with two satin covered buttons on the cuff. the coat does not button up and the lapels are probably also silk while the collar is the same wool as the rest of the coat. the only sets of pockets are in the tails and right inside the jacket along the inside of the lapel.
if there's information i might have missed that's needed for a date, please don't hesitate to ask!
