Need Help Dating David Morris Red Dress

I have done as much research as possible to date this dress, but I just can't pinpoint it. There is no lining and the inside seams have a zig zag edge. The small tag inside on the side seam says Size 12 but this is much smaller probably more like a size 2 or 4 with ample room for a bigger bust. I hope someone will be able to help me date this.

Your pics of the labels are great, but the dress ones are tiny! Any chance you could show us some bigger ones? It's hard to see the style properly. One showing the dress in full length, so we can see how long it is, will help too. Thank you.

Thank you - I'll go with '80s. I could believe late '60s if the skirt has been shortened, and the inside construction warrants it - but on the available evidence, the style looks '80s even though some elements of the labels and construction say earlier. Do you have a photo of the interior of the bodice? I'd like to put this one in the late '60s if I could.

I would agree with Nicole on late 60s with those new shots.
That label, the ruffled neckline and size 12 fitting like a modern 2 or 4 all say late 60s to me.

Agree, and you can safely remove the dry cleaning tag, that is double stapled.
