Need help dating Gianni Versace Dress

Hi,
I need your help with dating this Versace dress. Some of my friends told me that it is from the early 90s, but here in label resources, it is matching to 2000s, so I'm a bit confused - is it vintage or not? I'll really appreciate some help. Sorry, but I can't take better images at this moment

Another point that needs to be considered by users is that some companies used the same label for many years, and just because the garment used on the label resource is a certain date does not mean that all garments with the same label are the same date.

Hopefully someone can help with dating your dress - not my area!

I'm still searching, but nothing to the moment. I've got it today and it is not exactly a dress (may be something like a long vest or toga or jacket or....I don't know). It is open on both sides, so you should wear something below it. The silk is really heavy and is like these from the old draperies. It is really beautiful piece, but I wish I'll find something more about it.

Hi! really cool piece! The fabric would be a brocade.
I have a leather coat with the same label from late 80's early 90's and I've seen that particular label quite a few pieces especially jackets and suits. It's possible that it could have been part of a set. Try searching for vintage Versace ads or editorials, i'll keep my eyes out too! I love Versace!
